Short and Sweet #5

No
time to write? That's OK, do the dishes! No kidding. And, no, your mother
didn't tell me to say it!
In
fact, the famous mystery writer, Agatha Christie, said it first. "The best
time for planning a book is while you're doing the dishes."
Any
routine, well-learned task will do. My husband does the dishes, praise God, but
gardening, folding the clothes, taking a walk or making the beds works just
fine!
I
have trouble sitting still to think, but when I'm bored with a routine task, my
mind never fails to wander.
So...
next time you're stuck for an idea - do the dishes - and take notes!
